American Cocker Spaniel
With regards to their temperament, they are lovely gentle dogs that are great with young children, will respond well to training and love going for walks with the whole family. Their big floppy ears can get grass seeds stuck in them and also yeast infections which is important to keep an eye on, as both problems are easily solved. The average lifespan is around 14 years, but they can live for up to 18 years with the right diet, genetics and lifestyle. They usually grow to about 38-42 cm in height and weigh between 14 and 16 kgs in peak condition.
