Borzoi
The Borzoi is a huge and intelligent breed of dog. They are very good family pets, but are slow to warm to strangers. They were originally bred as wolf-hunters in Russia and therefore need lots of exercise. They require a bit of grooming to look their best, but aside from needing lots of exercise are generally low maintenance. You will probably need a station wagon if you want a dog like this one.

The average lifespan is around 10 years, but they can live for up to 12 years with the right diet, genetics and lifestyle.
They usually grow to about 65-85cm in height and weigh between 35and 48 kgs in peak condition.
