Collie Dogs

Collie Dogs shot to fame when the ‘Lassie’ films were released. They are now commonly referred to as ‘Lassie Dogs’. They are sensible and loving dogs that are a fantastic choice for families. The breed is very intelligent, loyal and will need a lot of grooming if you don’t want hair everywhere! Pics of Collie Dogs With regards to their temperament, they are lovely gentle dogs that are great with young children, will respond well to training and love going for walks with the whole family. The average lifespan is around 13 years, but they can live for up to 15 years with the right diet, genetics and lifestyle. They usually grow to about 46-60 cm in height and weigh between 25 and 35 kgs in peak condition.
