They are a great choice for a family pet, with an abundance of love, personality and courage. The average lifespan is around 14 years, but they can live for up to 16 years with the right diet, genetics and lifestyle. They usually grow to about 25-33 cm in height and weigh between 3 and 5 kgs in peak condition.
