Pugs

Pugs a huge spike in its popularity after the film ‘Milo and Otis’ was released detailing the adventures of one of these characteristic canines and his feline friend. They remain a popular breed today and are a great choice for families or young couples looking to own their first pet. Pics of Pugs They have some real human-like qualities including their friendly looking face and absolute love of children. They originated in the Far East, but are widespread around the world now. The breed can sometimes have breathing problems, snuffling or snoring due to their short snout. There is surgery available to help these problems if they occur, but I would suggest finding out if either of the parents have had problems if I were buying a one of these puppies. They can also have eye problems due to the shape of their face. The average lifespan is around 11 years, but they can live for up to 14 years with the right diet, genetics and lifestyle. They usually grow to about 18-20 cm in height and weigh between 6 and 8 kgs in peak condition.
