Weimaraner

The Weimaraner is a magnificent breed of canine. They have a beautiful, unusual silver-grey coat which is very short and low maintenance. This coat has led to their nickname “the grey ghost”. They love to be active and would suit an active family or young adult owner. They are great with young children. Weimaraner Pics This breed is courageous and fearless and a loyal companion and belong to the Gun Dog family. I think these dogs have a wonderful personality and would highly recommend them. They are the oldest German pointing breed and have been pure bred for over a century now. There are both short-haired and long-haired varieties available, but in my experience the short-haired variety is the most common. The average lifespan is around 12 years, but they can live for up to 16 years with the right diet, genetics and lifestyle. They usually grow to about 62-75 cm in height and weigh between 25 and 35 kgs in peak condition.
